A complete rebuild of the open-source guide for running your own Bitcoin and Lightning node on a Raspberry Pi.

RaspiBolt v4 targets Raspberry Pi 5 and Debian 13. The guide takes you from bare hardware to a Bitcoin and Lightning node that runs 24/7.

Start building: raspibolt.org/?v=4

The stack includes Bitcoin Core, Electrs, LND, RTL, Tor, Tailscale and local blockchain tools. Each service is installed and configured by you.

The guide itself was rebuilt too: clear navigation, full-text search, copyable commands, light and dark mode, and a layout designed for following along from another device.

RaspiBolt does not hide the system behind a one-click installer. You learn what runs on your node, where its data lives and how the pieces connect.

Nice. They helped me learn a lot about how to set up a bitcoin/ln node. Good to see the project is still active.

that's probably the best scenario to learn the basics of bitcoin and lightning instead of relying on a cool plug-and-play webUI.
