Yeah, compromising to get anything done is a bitch. No matter how much a zealot someone is politically from any direction, to get anything done you have to work with people. What a foreign concept, LOL.

That presumes that something is better than nothing, which is not a given for state action

reply

Not necessarily. Keeping the status quo can oftentimes be a viable strategy versus change that makes no sense or would create more damage.

reply

Fair enough. No disagreement there.

Ahem...@Yermin...zealot...cough, cough...

reply

Call me a zealot @JRem , but here's why I won't budge "The Navy May Replace a Black War Hero With a Sitting President"

reply

A spade is a spade...

reply

They…once…called us ‘spades,’ too. Which is kind of the point.

reply

Come on. “Call a spade a spade” is a centuries-old expression that pre-dates your reference. Turning that into a racial issue is actually the point...a zealot.

reply

Fair point on the phrase. But if opposing the replacement of Doris Miller with a sitting president makes me a zealot, argue that, not the label.

reply

You made that post after I called you a zealot, had nothing to do with it...lol, classic shifty @Yermin

reply

I was already posting it when you gave me the shout-out. I just incorporated the zealotry. Thank you!
