Its not corrupted — any more than other institutions impacted by state, democracy, regulation and other ills — it's not history (it's as present as gets) , and I'm not sure where the "indoctrination system that fuels capitalism" is...
Nobody beyond a few oddballs like myself seems to defend it, and besides, the anti-crowd seems to have a massive indoctrinating effort behind it

I'd rather not be so specific. Yes there are schools and Schools, but still, I'm in this case referring to the "public" ones. Still in the private sector, most are oriented to tell you how to join the club. Are really few the ones that aim to make a difference in education.
