how many newbies he scared away over the ye
How many signed up because SN wasn't a cuddle session and they found adversarial perspectives here?
It's a BBS not a popularity contest, alienating Super and now Darth isn't a positive trend
alienating Super and now Darth isn't a positive trend
Especially since it's not clear what, if anything, was gained in either case.
I think gaining a wallet that SN supports within its own interface, not needing external connections, but can still be converted to real sats, is a big gain
I don’t personally dislike either addition but it remains to be seen if they attract or retain more/better stackers than they repel.
Yea, the BBS and connectors is the product, sybil fees are the service.
Adding a wallet to a site that still requires an external wallet to even get into is neither a connector nor a solution to users without a wallet already.
CC's didn't stop the service from being custodial either if legal paranoia was the justification, it's still inter-mediating payments and you still trust its invoice generation.
It probably would have been easier to plop CLINK or NWC into the Spark SDK for connector support rather than adding the Spark SDK to SN.

how many newbies he scared away over the years
@realBitcoinDog has met several in real life.
yea when I bring up SN at conferences
For old timers
stacker since 12309 here, who can undercut me
he was and is not funny
what will happen to his circle jerk? will they leave also because their cult leader demands
he was repetitive
@DarthCoin is a big talk no walk NSA plant hypocrite.
He admits not using sats here on SNs- says its too hard and SNs is just a game.
Yet he claims to 'live on the BTC standard.
Bullshit...toxic hypocrite.
For old timers and people with thick skin, SN will be less fun with his absence
But I can't help but wonder how many newbies he scared away over the years
