TLDR

• Missed a few weeks on the weekly post. Deadbeat summer turned into Startup Day, AI Startup Rodeo, and a lot of running around afk.
• Still shipped the backlog: Hi-Fi Deck polish, Remix Mark I inching forward, Studio fixes, Creator Pro 50 GB uploads.
• Rebrand actually landed: PlebTV + the spectrum Wave-P logo on login, header, email, embeds, settings, maintenance. plebtv.com is the main URL now. Old impress.plebtv.com links still work.

The Long and Winding One

Week 6 was Vertical Explore and Hi-Fi Deck. I meant to post that recap around August 12th. Then Startup Day and the AI Startup Rodeo ate the calendar, and then just kept moving anyway.

Week 7 is the full bundle release.

Hi-Fi Deck grew up (Aug 12-14)

After the first release, Deck got a full polish pass.

• Fixed the Hi-Fi naming, fonts, and playback so Drops and Tapes actually load on the site.
• Clip trimmer got a real waveform, play/stop buttons, and scrubbing that feels less janky.
• Output Bay can flip between master, captioned, and clipped outputs. Transcript preview and copy in a modal.
• Drops can embed and share like normal media now, not just a secret link in a text file.

Still on the bench: tap transcript to set clip in/out, poster images on older Drops, and moving Deck to its own hifi.plebtv.com home later.

Remix Mark I, inching forward (Sep 1)

Labs Remix is finally moving toward a real product instead of a sequencer.

• The rows map to things that actually export: jump cuts, punch zoom, captions, hits, transitions, memes. B-roll only when you have more than one source.
• Smart Sequence analyze / apply / undo is real. Templates place beats, hooks, scenes, captions. Changing clip length remaps instead of wiping your work.
• You can pick 3-5 of your own videos and compile them into one new 9:16 export.
• Library list slimmed down. Mark I feels like a chapter we can build on, not “almost done for six months.”

Studio + Creator Pro housekeeping

• Studio lockup now says v2 when the multi-track timeline is on.
• Timeline menus stay on screen instead of opening off the edge.
• Clip thumbnail upload in the dashboard is easier to find, capped at 7 MB.
• Creator Pro uploads can go up to 50 GB per video now.

PlebTV rebrand, shipped (Sep 2)

This was “in flight” when I started drafting this post. It is on production now.

• Wave-P spectrum logo from the real concept art. No more hand-drawn SVG approximations.
• Public shell is PlebTV everywhere users look. Remix Mark I, Hi-Fi Deck, Agents, and Studio keep their product names. Old /labs/* links still work.
• Logo follow-up hit settings, notifications, maintenance screen, PWA icons, carousel art, and the last copy stragglers.
• Explore category cards got the Wave-P look too.
• Updated @PlebTV_ on X.

Also flipped the main URL:

• https://plebtv.com is home now.
• www.plebtv.com and impress.plebtv.com redirect over so old bookmarks, embeds, and PWAs keep working.

Honest deferred items

Still open, said plainly:

• Hi-Fi Deck on hifi.plebtv.com and Studio “cut one long video into several Library clips”. Specced, not shipped yet.
• More ElevenLabs + Remix Mark I experiments.
• Agent intake still parked for separate vps.
• Comments, end-card branding, notifications. Still later.

Outside the Platform

• Dropped AI Startup Rodeo video and tickets are live via Zaprite for end of October in Austin.
