The main question is, how does UBI get funded if no-one is working?

I suppose it comes down to who controls the AI and the productivity it creates?

If it's concentrated in a few Zuck/Musk/insert billionaire companies, then funding UBI becomes a question of taxing and negotiating that power

Not whether the UBI can actually be funded

It's less about the actual money trail and more about how our delightful state will enforce these AI firms to redistribute the moolah

If the state hasn't fallen by then, of course
