you sure nah doesn't make the bitcoin timechain more usable? money has 3 main functions: store of value, medium of exchange, and unit of account. without a good unit of account, there is no medium of exchange, and the bitcoin timechain will just be a store of value, failing to become the peer to peer electronic cash system Satoshi Nakamoto intended it to be.

less than 10% of world population understand or own any sat. simply because people cannot use it as a unit of account or medium of exchange. for the 90% to understand bitcoin, you need a unit of account that they can easily count and use. you talk about acquiring and securing as if the 90% out there are going to trust hardware wallets like coldcard and trezor after all the recent incidents. price? btc been stuck in the $60k - $90k range for a few years now. you can forget the $1 million target if we don't have a solution for the unit bias problem.

if bitcoin is a book that teaches people the concept of hard money, sat is a font too small to read. you need a better font. it's still the same book (nah is built on the bitcoin timechain itself, inherits all hashrate and decentralization), but with a different font (change circulating supply from 2 quadrillion to 85.3 trillion).

the main reason Satoshi Nakamoto created bitcoin was because fiat is a bunch of unstable units of account. if we cannot convince people that we have a better unit of account, we are gonna be stuck in the fiat matrix. the unit bias problem is real (see the quote at the beginning of my OP). improving bitcoin's interfaces? you think after all these years there is still room to improve? what could have been tried are already tried. mbtc, ksat... have all failed.

you can continue to try to improve the interfaces and get stuck, or you can adopt the real solution. Sat & Nah is the dual asset standard we need for the bitcoin timechain to win.

People that can't/won't understand Bitcoin as it currently is, do not deserve to own any. The goal is not to persuade 100% of the population. The goal is to recruit 20% and defend against the rest.

The unit bias problem solves itself. Dumb people end up with less money.

Claiming "dumb people end up with less money" mirrors the exact elitist arrogance of central bankers.

If you intentionally leave 80% of the population trapped in fiat, you leave 80% of global human energy fueling inflation, war, and systemic entropy. To permanently defeat the legacy machine, you must drain its liquidity entirely.

More importantly, your exclusionary mindset completely ignores the next generation. Hard money was designed to protect the working class and children in impoverished regions, not just the privileged few who have the time to study Austrian economics. A child in a developing nation should not be penalized because they cannot conceptualize a 233-Sat savings goal for a basic necessity.

Furthermore, this biological reality applies directly to your own children. The 20% elite you wish to recruit will still raise toddlers who count on ten fingers. You cannot teach a 3-year-old the concept of delayed gratification when a daily chore yields 10 Sat and the reward costs hundreds. Without a deflationary, easily countable cognitive standard like Nah, even your own descendants will default back to the comfort of fiat.

Defending the network does not mean keeping the masses out; it means building the architecture to bring them in. Sat & Nah provides the cognitive bridge to onboard the remaining 80%, protect the next generation, and complete the transition to a global dual-asset standard.

Money isn't for children. You're not understanding what money is.

The complexity of chemical equations isn't intentionally excluding anyone from the field; the expressions and jargon work perfectly fine for the people using them. Trying to make chemistry accessible for the masses does nothing for developing new medicines or improving food quality.

You have to teach children to count past 100 if your hope is for them to make money someday. It's not on me to choose a different currency.

Your chemistry analogy is fundamentally flawed. Chemistry is a specialized discipline for professionals, whereas money is the universal incentive system for all human cooperation. If a monetary network is only legible to a specialized elite, it is not a global reserve currency. It is simply a recreation of the fiat central banking system.

Saying "money isn't for children" proves you misunderstand the core function of behavioral psychology. The objective is not for a toddler to execute transactions, sign contracts, or understand macroeconomics. The objective is to hardwire low time preference during their most critical developmental window.

By the time a child's brain naturally develops the capacity to conceptually count past 100, their foundational psychological habits are already set. If you wait until they are older to teach capital accumulation, you have already surrendered their cognitive development to high time preference.

No one is abandoning the timechain or choosing a different base currency. We are establishing Nah to bridge the cognitive gap that Sat mathematically cannot close. Sat & Nah provides a unified standard that scales for the cryptographic engineer, the global merchant, and the 3-year-old learning to delay gratification.

Money, perhaps in a sense. Finance, no. The realm of >1 BTC transactions is the exclusive domain of specialized elites.

The problem with the fiat central banking system is not that a few individuals are making decisions that impact large masses of people. The problem is that those decisions revolve around political coercion rather than market demand. The solution, which has already been achieved, is to set a hard cap on supply that is enforced through a neutral, decentralized incentive structure. Unit bias is a psychological quirk that does not hinder adoption as global reserve currency, because that level of adoption is driven by need for a currency that doesn't skim from the users.

Income and expenses being assumed equal, it is impossible for a fiat saver to compete with a Bitcoin saver in terms of accumulating purchasing power, because the fiat saver is continuously bleeding value by design. A cognitive bias in favor of fiat, whether it's unit bias or herd mentality or any other psychological proclivity, cannot overcome the underlying math of the game being played.

Sat & Nah provides a unified standard that scales for the cryptographic engineer, the global merchant, and the 3-year-old learning to delay gratification.

You don't need a token for any of this. If they're a toddler then use raffle tickets. If they're an adult then use sats.

Let’s dismantle this piece by piece, from macroeconomic reality down to the biological development of a child.

1. The Cantillon Effect

You claimed that the problem with fiat is not that a few individuals make decisions impacting the masses. That is fundamentally false, and it echoes the exact arrogance of central planning. The core destruction of fiat is the Cantillon Effect: a centralized elite prints capital and absorbs its purchasing power before the working class ever touches it. Hard money exists precisely to strip that localized decision-making power away and return thermodynamic equity to the masses.

2. The Hypocrisy of Unit Bias

You dismissed unit bias as a "psychological quirk that does not hinder adoption." If unit bias is irrelevant, why does the Sat even exist? By your logic, the network should force everyone to price a cup of coffee at 0.000045 BTC. The reality is that the human brain—whether adult or toddler—requires simple, whole numbers to intuitively assess value. Forcing overly complex math or multi-hundred denominations on daily transactions creates entirely unnecessary cognitive friction, actively stalling the working class's transition from fiat to hard money.

3. The "Raffle Ticket" Fiat Trap

When you suggest a parent use "raffle tickets" for a toddler and Sats for an adult, you are severing the psychological continuum of money. A home-printed ticket has no thermodynamic cost, lacks a fixed supply, and requires absolute trust in the parent as a central issuer. You are actively teaching the child the exact fiat mechanics you claim to oppose. You cannot fix a fiat mindset by handing a child fiat paper.

If a child is to internalize the thermodynamic weight of capital, the unit they count in the living room must be the exact same verifiable unit they will use in the adult economy. They need a legible, continuous baseline.

1 chore equals 1 Nah. 10 days of discipline equals a 10-Nah toy. This formula scales seamlessly from a toddler's marshmallow experiment to global adult commerce without requiring custodial UI abstraction. Sat & Nah provides this definitive, uninterrupted cognitive bridge.

What I'm saying is that there's a difference between an elite group of friends who own tons of Bitcoin, and a group of elites that have exclusive access to a money printer. Bitcoin is not going to change the dynamic of some people having more decision-making authority than others. It changes how the authority is assigned and to who.

reply

You are correct that Bitcoin replaces a fiat aristocracy with a thermodynamic meritocracy. However, the working class has already been financially and psychologically exhausted by the legacy fiat machine. Forcing them to adopt a cumbersome, high-friction cognitive standard like Sat only makes their escape harder.

You are evaluating a global protocol based entirely on your personal convenience. Let’s examine exactly why you, from a purely selfish perspective, absolutely require Nah.

1. The Network Effect (If you have no children)

Even if you only care about your personal stack, your purchasing power is mathematically tied to the network's ability to absorb the global M2. You may not experience cognitive friction with Sat, but you are not the global market. If the exhausted working class faces unnecessary cognitive barriers, hyperbitcoinization stalls. You need Nah because it acts as the frictionless standard to onboard the remaining 80% of humanity. You need this dual-asset standard precisely because their effortless adoption is what drives the value of your own holdings.

2. The Generational Legacy (If you have children)

Mortality guarantees you will eventually part with your stack, but if you have children, your selfish incentive shifts from acquiring wealth to preserving it. You will pass your assets to a generation that must learn low time preference from scratch. If you lack a deflationary, easily countable, and continuous cognitive standard to hardwire that discipline into them early on, they will default to high-time-preference fiat behavior. Without Nah to bridge their biological limitations, your descendants will simply squander the wealth you spent your life building. You need Nah to protect your capital from your own children.

Bitcoin establishes a new elite, but that class only retains its purchasing power if the underlying network successfully scales to the entire species. Sat & Nah ensures that global expansion, protects your purchasing power, and secures your legacy against the entropy of time.
