CF Industries will begin construction this month on its $4bn Blue Point blue ammonia export project in Louisiana after receiving final construction permits, putting one of the world’s largest low-carbon ammonia plants on track for a 2029 start-up.
The 1.4 million tonne per year Blue Point project, being developed alongside Japanese power and industrial majors Jera and Mitsui, is set to export volumes to Japan and supply CF’s own production network.
My Thoughts 💭
Never heard of blue ammonia but this is a massive investment to start developing it in USA. Louisiana is modernizing in the 2020s I am curious to how all these investments pay off in 2040!

I sold all my stocks outside of my retirement account. I only have a handful in my retirement account now.

I think I did ok with it. They seem to be a pretty consistent company.
