I'm very confident that Ark will overtake Lightning in transaction volume and value.

LOOOL you are delusional. Ark DEPENDS of LN in every aspect.

No. That's completely wrong.

Both Ark and Lightning use 2-of-2 multisig, but that doesn't mean Ark depends on Lightning.

Ark is however inter-compatible with Lightning. Try it: https://alpha.noahwallet.io/

It does depend on Lightning to be anything beyond just exchanging leaves within a closed network.

There's a reason all the scammers pushing Ark affinity scam as Lightning wallets, because it's useless on its own.

@WeAreAllSatoshi what happens when @anon uses @remindme?

reply

presumably the same as usual? I think anon has notifications page, just can’t push notifications to devices

reply

You can’t see notifications when you aren’t logged in, though?

reply

oh, you can’t? I haven’t looked in ages

Edit: I wonder if that’s an oversight. I’m pretty sure mentions and other notifications used to work for anon

reply

I just checked. Notifications just took me to a sign-in page

reply

same. edited above with more thoughts

@anon is just a regular user as far as everything except authentication, rewards, and maybe some other things I forgot are concerned. If I didn’t throw away the nostr key I used to claim the account, I could in theory log in as @anon and see all notifications.

@anon is basically just

if (!user) user = 'anon'

in the code.

reply

I think anyone should be able to see anon’s notifications
