One of my interests is hearing peoples take on the food.

Personally my main consumption is beef, lamb, potatoes usually oven fried in coconut oil, occasional sourdough bread slice, pure greek yogurt and raw milk when I can. Avoiding processed food and try to get organic when I can

Many people don't give a shit and just eat what they can. Was like that for many years, but when my health just took a turn to the worse and doctors just told me to take pills for the rest of my life I took matters into my own hand eliminating processed foods and I regained my life.

I live in the countryside, doing permaculture, my house is surrounded by plants and every single one serves a purpose: food, medicine, shade, whatever. 80% of the fruit and veggies come from the garden, and when it's time to go out and forage, we go. The rest, we trade with neighbors, fresh eggs from the neighborhood shop, just collected, wild asparagus and tagarninas omelets from the field, goat milk from the village, in the mornings bread with extra virgin olive oil, that's sacred here. I also eat a lot of aguaturmas, they're delicious and stupidly easy to grow, no idea why more people don't plant them. Meat is worth it, spending a few sats during the week for good beef is an investment. A weekly barbecue with friends, a couple days of different meats, and fresh Mediterranean fruit juice every day. During the week, typical dishes from my city: gazpachuelo, chickpea stew, paella... real food, the kind you cook without rushing. Then there's the beer, craft or industrial, depending on the moment, every now and then I order some bitcoin-friendly ones from Beer of Satoshi, they arrive by mail and are much appreciated. Once a week some junk food is allowed, we're not monks.

Sounds glorious. Where is this magical place?

southern spain, but anywhere can be a good place to create your own space, do some research on permaculture and nendo dango technique, you might be surprised 🌱⚡

I always try to eat well. We all love cooking in my house and don't eat out that much unless it's for a special occasion or to give our kid a change from our own cooking. For the most part though, when we eat out we often feel we could have done a better job ourselves. Grocery shopping is a challenge these days though with prices being on the increase. We visit a lot of farm stands in the summer which always feels good, especially when the corn and peaches are so delicious. We aren't exclusively organic, just organic where it counts – avoiding the 'Dirty Dozen' and being aware of the 'Clean Fifteen'. We also have a really great vegetable garden, thanks to my wife. Right now there's an accidental tomato plant growing out of the compost that has yielded more tomatoes than the actual intentional tomatoes we grew. There's a snake that lives under the compost too. It keeps the vole population down!
