Yes it does.
Unfortunately human competition for territory and resources has frequently resulted in the use of force.
We currently live under a dominant super power that is quite explicit in its intention to use, and actual use of force, to gain territory and resources.
War seems to be what often happens when people cannot get what they want via peaceful and productive trade.
The nation state is a major driver of the wealth and prosperity of citizens.
Glad I live in New Zealand and that we don't have large oil reserves or precious minerals within our territory.

No. You speak English, pay me. You're in my nation-state's territory.

Is this not how a "mixed economy" works? Is this not the system you prefer?

reply

Oh to be sure US majority shareholders control over 80% of NZs banking sector and extract ~$5 billion annually as part of our tribute to the US military industrial empire...so don't you worry.

And our military, such as they are, are equally enmeshed to the US imperial forces and supply chains and largely subservient to your dictates, although when we had a socialist government we did refuse to go into Iraq with you in your fabricated fake news hunt for 'weapons of mass destruction'.

Yes, the statists. Collective governance by force. You. The market makes and the state takes.

reply

So your US imperialism = global statist hegemony.

reply

Yes. It's not as bad as the PRC so you have no grounds to complain.

reply

But the PRC does not threaten to and actually murder, assassinate, kidnap, torture foreign nationals and their leaders or enable genocide of other peoples and resource theft globally.

China does fund and build productive infrastructure and enable resource development and trade.
Something USA is increasingly inept at if not essentially incapable of.

This is why increasingly not just the global south developing nations but Europe, Canada, Asia and Australasia see China as a better trade partner than the US imperialist kleptocracy.

Yeah they do.

or enable genocide of other peoples and resource theft globally.

"Other" and "globally" are doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

reply

Can you give credible examples of China doing such things to the resources, citizens and leaders of other nations?

S I L E N C E !

reply

Well fist off the PRC is a communist plague from Hell not a real nation, so everything they've done to China counts, but sure I'll work up a list of grievances tonight.

reply

China is recognised by USA and is USAs most important trade partner- because China processes raw products into manufactured goods many orders of magnitude more efficiently than the crony capitalist kleptocracy of the petrodollar Zionist puppet, USA.

You cannot give any examples of China enabling genocide or threatening or directly kidnapping, murdering, torturing, assassinating other nations citizens and leaders- because there are no examples.

You are a transparent and disingenuous apologist for US imperialist kleptocracy and war crimes.
