Acid mine water in the tide pools and rocks at Spittal Beach, Northumberland, England:

End of summer light, at the pool nearby:

A short walk in our meadow a couple of evenings ago. Low sun, goldenrod and asters, crickets still going strong. Berkshires, MA.

And last night, milkweed and dahlias in the mist:

All photographs by either Tom Bland or Diana Pappas. Feedback or questions welcome!

I liked the misty feel of the last few photos.

Were there any monarch butterflies?

reply
