Hi guys, i've only tested https://swap.coinos.io/swap so far and it works, but cant seem to move more than about 45 bucks worth because low liquidity.
i also tried adding sats to coinos and then withdrawing on-chain, and I just hit an error every time
are there any trusted alternatives about at the moment with better liquidity, or will i just need to do small chunk swaps?
update to this - so i liked the look of swapmarket, but the api was down when i wanted to use it. Coinos wasn't working today either
so i did a bit more scouting on nostr and found two more
Swaptopia
https://labs.second.tech/swaptopia/
Has a retro Windows look, which is kind of cool. Liquidity doesn't seem bad; I swapped about 300k sats no problem
Other one i tried was
https://satsrouting.exchange/swap
This one looks like boltz, i only tested about 50k sats on this one and it was fine
I haven’t used them, but @SwapMarket provides boltz-like interface to several swap APIs: https://swapmarket.github.io/
Thanks @koob! One correction. The front end at https://swapmarket.github.io/ does not "provide boltz-like interface to several swap APIs". It is a transparently deployed fork of Boltz web app dialing several actual Boltz backends from independent providers. The swaps not only "look like" original Boltz, they indeed have the same trustless qualities. More details here.
I've used "trocador.app" on several occasions and it's worked well for me.
this just goes via FixedFloat, which is custodial and expensive to send LN sats to
Have been writing about it, have a look at the options:
phoenixdCurrently experimenting with the idea that every node should be a swap provider with beignet: https://github.com/coreyphillips/beignet-umbrel. Something that anyone can spin up locally.
These centralized swap services are going to continue to buckle or fall to AML/KYC policies. We need to decentralize before that happens. Just sharing my thoughts and frustration with the current situation. It sucks.
@stack_harder needless to say, be careful with experimental stuff. If you run an LND node in Umbrel better look at PeerSwap in the official App Store. As of v7.0.1 it runs without Liquid dependency.
I have not tried this yet, but I added it to my notes. DYOR.

I haven't tried it yet!

Electrum if it's a swap between LN and onchain. They have a number of market makers you can chose from.
