Hi all, I made a zine about OP_CAT.
OP_CAT may be an unusual choice as it's no longer a hot topic and it was even, dare I say, a bit controversial when it was released. But I choose it because it's very simple to understand, even if you don't know much about bitcoin Script or opcodes.
Concatenation, which is what the "CAT" in OP_CAT stands for, is computer science 101. It's a powerful building block with great versatility.
OP_CAT has some fun Satoshi lore and it's a gentle entry point into ongoing discussions about covenants and soft forks.
