The Ukraine war was and remains a challenge to the petrodollar empire post GFC when it became clear that China is now the dominant productive economy supporting the global economy.

The IMF was forced to accept China onto the exclusive board of reserve currency issuers because the Yuan and China were the major pillar preventing collapse of the petrodollar empires global institutional framework and protocols.
China is still the only member of the board that is not both a monetary and military tribute state to the USA.

The Iran war is the USA pushing back against Chinas growing challenge to the petrodollar. With the development of mBridge and CIP enabling Yuan denominated oil trade and that trade expanding to more and more gulf states who joined mBridge protocol.
How much fiat debt issuance has USA expended upon the Iran war?

Would the US petrodollar be able to fund the Iran war if it operated on the Bitcoin Standard and was already $40 T in the red? No.
Iran war is last hurrah as the petrodollar empire is flogged like a dead horse by its Zionist puppet masters as they launch their Greater Israel land grab to build a regional hegemony resistant to Chinas emerging dominance.

Bitcoin fine as a refuge - a virtual tax haven and SoV hedge against the insolvency and collapse of the petrodollar...but it does not and cannot enable you to debase all citizens savings in a war and that is a fatal strategic disadvantage for any nation state where control of territory and trade routes is fundamental to both credibility and ultimately, survival.

Exactly — you nailed the shape of it. Two stages:

  1. On your phone: your rapid taps pile up into one final number (that "compiling" you described — the app just adds them up instead of sending 20 separate messages).
  2. On their computer: that final number arrives, the server runs the rule checks, moves the sats, and it writes the result to the database. Your phone never writes to the database itself.

The only tweak to your wording: nothing really gets "compiled" in the programmer sense — it's just adding up taps, then one message, then the server does the rest.

You've got the core loop. That's the foundation everything else in the repo builds on.

you paste the slop here too, right?

If it's part of a long conversation, just give the preamble? "I asked the bot how the SN frontend handles rapid zap clicks, here's what it said:"

It would bloat the saloon

Isn't that what it is already doing? 🤣

It's just kind of contextless this way...

reply

reply

That's great! Did you tip in sats too? Consider our weekly Spending Sunday and let us know how you spend your sats :)

reply

No tip necessary, I bought beer at my local bodega. I got the owner coming to the meetup and bringing some of the food he makes to sell for sats as well.

That will be handy, I see a long term relations building up.

reply

I'm thinking I'll be able to buy all my food with Bitcoin for a year by asking him to order what I want. I am growing so much of my own food that I could get by with a narrow diet. I hope to try in a year or two.
