Over the last couple of weeks, I had been running into the oddest issue with SN, and I could not figure out for the life of me what was going on. On my personal laptop, whenever I would go to zap someone, the zap would fail, and I would get sent to a getalby.com webpage that would hit me with a "This site can't be reached" message. I was certain that this was an issue with my wallet connection, but after resetting them when I was at home the next day, the same issue occurred.

Now, with my attention fixed on trying to figure out what the hell was going on, I realized that whenever I would just type something in the address bar on Brave, I would get hit with a white page that said: "Your request has been refused by the server." Like a normal person I figured I either needed to update my computer or Brave itself and when I realized they were up to date the only thing I could think of at first was that I somehow broke my computer.

However, it still worked whenever I was hooked up to Wi-Fi that wasn't at work.... After a couple of days of trying to figure it out... it hit me. In August, before all of my travel, we had gotten an email about the House updating its internet.... Lo and behold, this "update" has tanked zapping and using Brave Search.

I talked with our IT guy, who confirmed it was likely these "upgrades" that have caused these issues. According to the House, now tipping on SN and using Brave Search is part of a high-risk website or unapproved cloud application. So sorry in advance for everyone who during the workday now gets CC from me as tips! I can't zap you sats anymore, and I actually have had to log into my work computer to zap posts since it does not interact with Alby at all.

Gotta love the government making people "safer"
