Regardless of who stays in charge of which political office one thing is certain: the FBI is going to spend the next 30 years or longer (whatever the statute of limitations is and then some) hunting down whoever hacked their website. I think I caught an article last night quoting ShinyHunters trying to backpedal and say they didn't really mean to put the FBI data stolen out to the public. All I can think is, good luck running.
They not only embarrassed the agency with the breach and stunk it in the FBI's face publicly, now they have a persistent federal agency with an endless budget methodically hunting down anyone involved. The Silk Road and Ross Ulbricht conviction is a good example of the lengths the agency will go to to find a digital criminal. Ought to be some interesting stories on this over the next years.
