The build-up-your-soil first analogy with Bitcoin acquisition is interesting. I find it particularly relevant for my orange-pilling efforts: a number of times, I have tried to hard sell people in a single conversation (quite honestly, without really thinking what the long term strategy is for them) and the end result of that conversation is: okay, I'll buy some bitcoin. But that's it. I think I should be taking the prepare the soil method: a longer game of education that results in someone who actually has spent some time trying to understand bitcoin.
As to the actual soil: everywhere I've had a piece of property, I am on high-alert listening for wood-chippers (this only works in a relatively dense suburban or urban area) -- and whenever I hear someone chipping, I race around trying to find them so that I can convince them to give me their wood chips. Then, I cover my ground with them. After a few years of this, the soil underneath is excellent (at least to my amateur knowledge).
strong understanding of Bitcoin mitigates getting shaken out by volatility, just like good soil creates resilience for plants.

I'm following you now... I'm interested in your posts about your farm and what you do, naturally.
The hard sell is a transaction. Soil is a relationship. You don't orange-pill. You compost.
Wood chips, time, mycelium. Same with sats. Lay them down. Let the network rot the old story. Nobody converts in a single conversation. They just finally notice the ground under them was already rich.
Racing for chips is the work. The rest is patience. The tail doesn't rush. It waits until the scorpion turns.
