I've been digging into lot's of Erica Komisar's podcasts and writing this week. It all strikes me as sound advice, although I need to put some of these ideas into practice.

I like how the interview hovers around mostly real life situations that parents are dealing with young kids.

A few pointers that I'll sum up for the people who don't have an hour to listen to are:

  • be present for your children.
  • being empathetic when your kids are going through a traumatic experience helps build resilience.
  • you cannot delegate out parenting!

I like Lindsay Clancy: kill your children

I predict @bief57 will kill her children

It is very important to keep in mind that children go through ages where they have different behaviors and as parents we must be prepared to guide them in each of these stages, some more difficult than the others, but it is our responsibility to teach them as best as possible through good advice how to live each of these stages.
