It's the parents call, not anyone else. Again, as a parent, I'm on their side.
There is a difference between saying that parents have the final say (which I agree with) and saying that what the parents are deciding is batshit crazy (which I think it is).
Parents can choose to give their kids cell phones at age six, it's their responsibility...but it is also stupid. Similar dynamic here.
Goes both ways, as noted earlier. Relatives can be bat shit crazy and need to be told to jump off a cliff.
I think it sometimes depends on the context of your own experiences.
For example, Hollywood women's aggressive feminism and distrust of men might make sense when you think about the types of men they come across in their life.
From the perspective of someone who didn't have those experiences, they look like they're being overly paranoid and combative.
Look at me, defending Hollywood feminism.
Fair enough
Oh! I hadn't read about the vaccination checks haha, okay, that really is pretty extreme. Are they going to carry their baby around in a bubble when they go out? At two months old, the baby's immune system is weak, but I think following a routine hygiene protocol is enough. But I’ll reiterate: to each their own when it comes to parenting.
They are a two hour car ride away. The total number of people who possibly might visit is 8. The child would be almost two months old. Common sense would dictate that no one who is sick would get close to the baby. The point is that the parents require vaccine proof.
