Framework laptops have hardware switches to disable the camera and mics at hardware level. Amazing laptops with Linux support and upgradeability too. Typing on one now, recommend it.

Smartwatches have, imo, become one of the most insidious surveillance tools of all because they're tracking an ever increasing amount of health data and sending it up to the cloud as well as having the usual NSA wet dream combo of a mic, GPS, cellular, WiFi, all in something you wear on your person at all times.

I'll stick to my Swiss watch. Doesn't even have a battery.
