Sitting on the terrace. I was enjoying the quiet of dusk. From time to time, birds would land on the branches, causing the leaves to fall. The phone rang. A notification appeared on the screen announcing the arrival of a message. I did not know the number. I opened the message and began to read:
“When autumn begins to be felt and the evenings begin to fill with coolness, I like to remain naked in the room, with the window slightly open, and feel the cool air caressing my skin, sliding over my shoulders, belly and legs, causing slight shivers. Outside, the wind shakes the branches and carries away the last leaves. Inside, I enjoy this silent encounter between the body and the season, this feeling of freedom that makes me feel more alive.
I do not hurry to cover myself. I want to remain like this a little longer, surrendering myself to the coolness that awakens every sensation in me, while I wait for your magical hands. I imagine their warmth upon my skin, the gentle touches that will melt away my shivers, the fingers that will wander slowly over my body. I wait for an approach, a breath near my neck, lips seeking my lips, two bodies drawing closer until the space between them disappears.
And the more the air coming through the window grows cool, the more I desire the warmth of your hands, your body close to mine, the sweet abandonment in each other’s arms. There is a special pleasure in waiting like this, with the skin awakened and desire growing in silence.”
I reread it several times. Every time I read it, I asked myself: who the hell sent me this message?
Do such things happen only to me, or have they happened to you too?
