It’s all WIP but Outer Space will probably be generally protective of namespaces. Otherwise it’s free to get celebrity names and run scams. Nip05 verification means a little more if you paid for it and I’m incentivized to correctly “verify” a nym.

1. We might eventually make names free until someone else wants to pay for a specific name, ie outbid on it
2. Hopefully once we're rolling you'll be able to earn the sats to buy a custom name
3. We might eventually allow names to be earned rather than paid for
4. The pricing might be subject to change generally
