I can create a pinned post for each day of the conference that includes the agenda that day, relevant links, etc and people can discuss it in there.

IME It'd also be nice to have some indication of what's going on on each stage at any given moment, but that'd require a fairly dedicated effort/feature.

Advantages of a sub afaict:

  1. discovery ... if we list every talk at any given moment as a "post" they can get upvoted
  2. live play by play of talks (which would require hiring people to do probs)
  3. maybe people want to discuss a particular talk, but I'm usually just moving from one to another as I go

if we can decide on what we all want I should be able to get something done for the conference

As discussed with @the_bitcoin_bum this morning, part of the benefit of the conference is we kind of get SN in person.

I think the best bang for our buck is a pinned post (likely at the top) with relevant links like satellite events, agenda, etc. and the opportunity for discussion among people who are attending.
