Interesting that there was already an uptrend before AI hit the scene, but then the chart hits a real discontinuity in 2026. I wonder how much the rate will drop once the code is patched and llms are being used defensively, or if it will be a constant effort to patch new vulnerabilities (just due to so much code being generated.)
