Wemby is awesome but is he a winner?

We saw a couple big late game blunders in the finals from him.

Now last night instead of just dunking over Thompson he tries a little floater and Thompson makes an incredible game saving block.

Maybe he is just young but this is becoming a bit of a trend.

He supports the rioters in France, fuck this guy

reply

Probably, but he needs some settle-down juice in clutch moments and he needs a go-to move. Why hasn't he worked on his Skyhook?

reply

is the case of another big man who'd rather play like a guard?

reply

Just needs to gain 50lbs and he will be unstoppable.

reply

Maybe not even that much, if they find a nice beefy PF to pair him with.

reply

He's good at playing that way, but there's more efficient stuff available to someone his size.

reply

He made the finals already so yes he is

reply

Ok but he blew two games in the finals helping your Knicks win a championship.

reply

But he made it!! Thousands of players never get to the finals. I think this is what’s wrong with sports today everything is championship culture forget the journey or the winning it takes just to make it to the finals.

So in my book he’s a winning player! He made to the finals at an age before Jordan did.

reply

Ok I defer to you Blok but he still should have gone up strong and won that game for the Spurs last night.

reply

The season is still young!!

reply

he helped the knicks win - ergo, winning player

reply

Touche.

reply

It's two games bro, and he made the NBA finals last season

reply

He also cost his team two games in the NBA finals.

I think he is great. He will win a championship. He just hasn't developed that end of game killer instinct like some of the greats before him. Maybe it's all anecdotal.

reply

true

time to trade him

reply

Great idea. Wemby to the Raptors for Poeltl. Done.
