It’s pretty incredible to see how quickly they’ve gone from making 10,000 payments/day to over 30,000 payments/day.
It took 3.5 years to get to 10,000 payments/day, and then only 6 months to triple that number.
Gradually, then suddenly.

i think most people over-estimate the effect of nostr on these numbers. THNDR Games alone is responsible for 6k-7k WoS payments/day.
yes but thunder games has been around for over a year, i know they add games here and there. but the numbers line up with nostr/zaps
THNDR Games released new games in Sept 2022 & Mar 2023, both months represented big jumps in WoS numbers.
Not saying there is no Nostr impact, just that people over-estimate it.
