agree. Let's give them some time. will try again in half a year

Yeah, they've asked for a little patience. I guess doing a full non-custodial wallet that is easy to use is not easy...

I also think mobile apps need to use native comps, or the UX is just horrible. but let's see what they can build

reply

I think BitKit user interface is beautiful compared to other wallets. Don't you think so?

reply

It just crashes after the app is open for more than 10 seconds. I've reported the issue half a year ago and others have the same problem

reply

Mine doesn't do that.

How is it now? I recently started using it (BitKit), my introduction to lightning wallets. Haven't used it in the real world yet but I was able to fund it just fine and the navigation has been ok so far. Profile and contacts are listed as coming soon tho - which is a bit puzzling for me. I found Stacker News through BitKit!

reply

Doesn't seem to happen to everyone, just a few people:

reply

Ah, right...

It would be cool to have a device in which I could try and reproduce it to get the logs and see what's happening.

reply

it's nice, but it's a bit unresposive

and it had a few crashes.

I want to try it again later.

IMO, Phoenix wins the UX/UI nonetheless. Very clean and simple. not too much going on.

reply

Yeah, I have to try Phoenix, then I want to use BitKit and maybe report some issues or try to fix some of the bugs.

It's the best. Even has a built in Tor client, quite a small minimum channel opening size, easy controls. The tor client is a winner for me.
