Shots fired! This is a great halo/branding play.
The reason was that lightning (and c-lightning) were quite poor search terms. They worked for me, but there are more voices and opinions.
Also note that there is https://github.com/lightningnetwork which may hint that this is the lightning. Yes, as you say a branding play this is. For a reason.

But, damn it... still don't have a LN wallet?
reply
Basic feature of CLN is a LN wallet. It also has an on-chain wallet, so the
bitcoind
it connects to can be running without wallet at all.I think there is some misunderstanding here. Why do you think it does not have a LN wallet? What are your expectations for something you call LN wallet and have it elsewhere, but not on CLN?
reply
If you refer as "wallet" is about a simple app that you can manage easily your node, not in a cli command terminal.
Yes, we have Zeus and Spark. But I also wonder why Blockstream never develop a LN wallet or simply add LN support into GreenWallet.
reply
Totally with you on that. No idea why Blockstream does not do any user-friendly-GUI LN wallet.
By the way, have you heard about lamp?
reply
Very good question!
This is the reason I can’t rally use GreenWallet: it lacks lightning support.
