BTC has a strong fight ahead against FIAT currencies. For this reason, the use of various techniques, mechanisms and instruments should be used to promote the adoption of Bitcoin. It is not an easy task to update people's mentality, and it should not be imposed. Adoption should be the result of citizen awareness.

The point is:
The "adoption" will be for the wrong reasons. A lot of people will flock in because BTC reached 100k (or whatever the new ATH will be) and then will get burned when it crashes (because a lot of noobs just joined which are easy to manipulate).
Therefore, huge price spikes can actually be considered to do harm to sustained adoption.

With the actual level of idiocy in this world, I would prefer to not be any mass adoption. I prefer that BTC is only for people that use their brain.
