I need help to figure this out because I am still learning about the fundamentals of bitcoin.

So BRC - 20 Tokens are essentially like the tokens on the ethereum blockchain?

What makes these tokens any different than the regular shitcoins on ETH? Because its on the BTC blockchain does it make it not a shitcoin? Also I see that I can buy ORDI tokens (Ordinals) but what am I buying? Am I buying inscribed satoshis? Why is the price seem irrelevant to bitcoin?

Help me understand if I should be investing in these tokens or just stick to BTC?
