Well it is , but a wide range of people is using “crypto” to describe hundreds of projects that ends being scams,
Bitcoin is no crypto is a way to say that Bitcoin is different than other projects who are not decentralized and open.
We can say that being crypto is the less interesting part of Bitcoin.

Yes, that's the part im struggling with in my approach. I agree with you that "Bitcoin is not crypto" is a way to distinguish shitcoins from crypto.
So I would definitely hesitate to say "Bitcoin is crypto" since I will indeed be misunderstood but then I accept that crypto means cryptocurrency...
Which is contrary to what I want to do, lol
