Mozilla sold out to the powers that be a long time ago. I'm glad I stopped using Firefox when I did. I encourage anyone still using them to do the same. Here are some alternatives:
  • TOR Browser
  • Waterfox
  • LibreWolf
  • Brave (just turn off the shitcoinery and you'll be fine)
  • PaleMoon

I feel you. However I try not to loose sleep over it. We must let the market choose a clear winner.

Markets are rigged.

They cannot. Only we can do that if we dont use alternatives and support developers who respect freedom loving Internet users. Mozilla will only hurt themselves.

For some ad-hoc testing I need to keep a few different browsers on my Android.
But long ago I had uninstalled Firefox and installed Fennec F-Droid (using F-Droid to do the install).
Fennec F-Droid is based on the latest Firefox release (codenamed Fenix). It has proprietary bits and telemetry removed, but still connects to various Mozilla and Google services that can track users.
I might even uninstall Fennec F-Droid even ... because these people disgust me so much.

So is @mozilla going to eventually restrict us from downloading Bitcoin Core now or what. Need to know so I can start compiling ungoogled chromium.

Just started using nyxt
Takes a little time to get used to (learn a few key cmds with alt/opt/cmd + l/cp etc., and you're good to go. Can be installed via brew on mac.
Not sure how compatible and feature rich it is but seems very efficient. Written in Lisp https://nyxt.atlas.engineer/documentation

At one point, I had to occasionally use that shit Mozilla browser for a particular work remote log-in. I had no plans to ever use it again, which are now reinforced in a big way.

*Bitcoin doesn’t support development of clown policy based browser. Internet browsers in the future will be chosen more carefully.
