This is badass. The zap feature on streams is a killer idea for content creators

Very cool. UI needs serious work. Don't get fancy, just copy Twitch or Kick.
Speaking of, why are Twitch logos being used?
How do live streams propagate?
When I broadcast, is my IP address exposed? What about as a viewer?
What does this look like at scale? How will it sustain thousands of viewers per stream?

I believe Kieran (Snort dev) streamed using Cloudflare Stream a few days ago. I haven't looked too much into this but it's probably doable from your homeserver for a few viewers. If you expect to deliver video and audio to thousands of people, I'd say you need a datacenter worth of hardware to transcode and multicast the video/audio.

its basically just an upgraded video player that supports HLS streams...you can't actually broadcast to nostr...which is what I thought it would do.

Zap.stream is taking off too
Yesterday I two people playing GO in a nostr nest within a zap.stream

Minor feedback: change the favicon to something other than the react logo. Looks promising though, I’d also like to see the repo!
