Yeah, this is a dumb marketing technique. Its terrible. I get multiple posts when it is more of an article vs tutorial and it is very long but this isn't that.

Appreciate the feedback. You're right, it will make more sense once it is concluded. I am afraid this was shared too early. I actually have a placeholder link in the intro for the master parts list. The reason it is not there yet, is because I am documenting my own fresh build real time as I go along and still sourcing the parts and verifying each build step. My core is still syncing at this time. As for the build price, you can add about $200 for one 200-350 GH/s ASIC (holds up to 3 - my goal is to reach 1 GH/s), $150 for the battery and about $100 - $250 for the solar panel to the list. Prices and availability seem to vary greatly. The rest is fairly cheap hardware. That said, if you live somewhere with absurdly high energy costs, the initial investments is not the problem, the ongoing costs are. If you scale it up to a "real" miner, like you could with the build cost with a used old S19, you'll need a fairly big solar array, storage, cooling solution etc. - that goes beyond home mining for most. I want to keep it simple and modular.
