No MSM Coverage Of Gold Backed BRICS Currency

I checked both CNBC and Bloomberg to see what they're saying about a possible gold backed BRICS currency. I found no mention of this story. These are the two biggest MSM business outlets in the U.S. I then checked the CNBC gold ticker price. Gold is down about a half of one percent. I wonder how long this story can be suppressed in the U.S.?

The entrepreneur doesn't exist and the interviewer also wasn't real. For me it's like a computer game. I can write You any stuff You like as I am experienced and educated on any level of written entertainment You can imagine. But don't worry: there still is a lot of real stuff in the papers...

Yes of course. I can't reveal my whole identity here until I finish one of my contracts. I am very close to german politics and deep into entrepreneurial (wrong no?) efforts. What I can say is, for example, that there is deep concern in Berlin that the migration crisis could have deeper consequences. And there is an agreement to be silence on cbdcs as long as possible. If you are interested in facts about the CIA I highly recommend reading "Legacy of Ashes". All on the record interviews about the history of the CIA. The things that are officially on the record will curl your hair. I really think the whole "conspiracy theory" meme is to distract from the facts that sound like conspiracy theories. The CIA and other intelligence agencies do in fact influence news. I don't know who and how currently but this is no secret. Other nations do the same. Israel, China, the Saudis, and many others I'm sure. The average US citizen is as ignorant as a child about how these nation state actors work.

This book really turned my interest away from what at I thought at the time were crazy "conspiracy theories" towards learning more about history and the documentation of what the state and its actors have actually done that is documented. You don't need to go into the hypothetical speculative world to understand how evil, corruption, and unredeemability of the state.

I agree with you. The quotes around it were meant to indicate things like aliens and more outlandish thoughts. Or at least theories with less proof. There has been a war on "conspiracy theories" for years and you are right it is a war on thought. My point was that you don't need to speculate on how evil the state is by coming up with theories at all. They really don't hide it their evil very well. If you look you will see it. It is undeniable. The thing is, humans like a good story and I see many folks get distracted by stuff that isn't supported by strong evidence while we have so many things that are almost undeniable. And yet the majority of people don't see it. One of the most effective tactics is distraction.

If they didn't they for sure have promoted it. There's a documentary, I can't recall the name of it where a former FBI guy admits to feeding a UFO enthusiast false leaks for years. The UFO guy eventually ended up in a mental institution. People that don't believe that there are forces in government manipulating the news, social media, and direct individuals really need to open their eyes. Being aware that this stuff happens is key.

In Legacy of Ashes false news reports are documented in South American countries where the CIA wanted to affect elections. False and probably true stories were placed in newspapers to take down leaders in elections. This is why when the Russia gate thing happened I just rolled my eyes about it.

When rumors leak to the press in the US do you think these are all true rumors? Of course not. I would bet the largest source of leaks are the administrations themselves. If you believe what they say on the TV/Social you are a fool in my book. Or you're at least being played like a fool. We are constantly manipulated by many actors. This whole thing about fake news is funny. Its almost like we are supposed to believe this is a new thing. It isn't. Always been the case.

The only time I felt him possibly being deceptive/inarticulate was on the topic of Israel on Glenn Greenwald's podcast. I forget the context exactly but Greenwald compared intervention in Israel (he's in favor) to Ukraine (he's against) and imo scored a point on him. I don't care to have an opinion but Greenwald made him seem inconsistent.

Yes. I listened to that episode. Greenwald did score a gotcha. It was regarding the inconsistency of continuing to give aid to Israel despite the fact the Israel was expanding settlements illegally, and that their sovereignty wasn't being challenged, whereas in Ukraine there was an invasion. Kennedy couldn't articulate a reason to continue to supply Israel with $$$ and weapons. Kennedy isn't alone there. It's a pretty indefensible position at this point

Thanks for the links. The pay wall makes it tough but I get the gist of it. Seems like a lot of strong counter arguments that could be addressed by the U.S. press, yet they remain silent.

Another issue maybe you could address. This BRICS bank appears to be more of a development bank geared towards infrastructure projects, and doesn't seem to function as a "central bank" for the BRICS nations. Their opinion is of course important, but they wouldn't be involved in creating a currency, I don't believe.

Yeah, I don't think the institution currently exists that would create such a currency yet.

There is this thing that BRICS has already called the NDB (New Development Bank) and it's described as an alternative to the IMF... (Not sure if you've heard any podcasts with Alex Gladstein how the IMF loansharks poor countries.)

China already has their IMF alternative called the Belt and Road Initiative. But since they don't have the privilege as the global reserve asset, they have less room too keep countries in debt forever like we can (though they can do things like confiscate ports and stuff.)

Perhaps with NBD the BRICS nations can put their money together and keep countries in a perpetual state of debt slavery as effectively as the West can. (Gladstein feels outsourcing inflation to the global south is an integral part of why life in the West is prosperous as it is.)

There are also talks of a unified SWIFT alternative, though India, Russia and Brazil already have their own with China having one in the works.

But if we were to ask the question "what would it look like if they were to launch a currency together?" Well, I guess BRICS would have a series of progressively larger and more intertwined major financial projects together. So far, that is what is happening, but it is still too early to tell.

Either way, there seems to be an overlap of mandate, unless BRICS bank is intended to serve as a central bank? Have you found any good sources in this?

Here's a reason you might not hear NDB talked about. Its old news. Believe it or not. BRICS and NDB were formed in 2014-15. Weird right? NDB was called the BRICS Development Bank. I have a link a the bottom to a Un-paywalled Washington post article titled "What the New Bank of BRICS is All About" 7/17/2014.

One of those things. I wasn't really down the rabbit hole yet, so it wouldn't have been on my radar. I was partying then.

I don't think there is an overlap of mandate. NDB is largely investments in countries outside of BRICS nations (to (ideally) benefit BRICS nations) The common currency would be to help facilitate trade for inter-BRICS country transactions. (Otherwise they would have to use one of eachother's currencies and people have expressed that nobody trusts eachother's currency enough, as they keep things less open than the US.)

Also, btw, I am assuming the common currency (whenever it happens, IF it happens) is at the central bank level. I am assuming the countries don't want to give up the sweet, sweet, mistress of seigniorage. I haven't heard anything otherwise.

Though, i guess there are ways to do it where economically stronger nations try to keep that, (the Euro tried to do this) though, i feel the Euro was a cautionary tale, with the average Netherlands citizen contributing €284 per capita and the average Lithuanian taking €578 per capita. (The currency, I did hear mentioned a month ago. Then more recently that it wasn't happening any time soon.)

This month from the 22nd to the 24th I think there's a summit in S. Africa for BRICS nations (and possibly aspiring new nations). Anyway, they went out of their way to say they will not be discussing any new currency.

This is what Fortune reported Maasdorp to have said:
