By changing the calculation method and manipulating the figures, the Fed's 2% target will be reached...
But don't pay too much attention and beware.

the real trick with these numbers isn’t that they incorrectly weigh the basket (even though they do), it’s that they ignore everything that happened more than 12 months ago.

The official inflation of the Brazilian government is very low, close to the US government. The only point is that we have a basic interest rate of almost 14% p.a. If the Fed raises rates, we'll easily have double-digit inflation around here.
Living in the third world is very complicated.
