Good post.
What I am more concerned about when I bury something is whether or not I will be able to access the actual site that it is located at.
What if there is a train derailment that releases toxic chemicals into the air and the air becomes unbreathable or there is a forest fire that forces residents to evacuate the area or even a flash flood that washes out a road or completely relocates your burial site.
I know it's unlikely but still something to consider.

I really hope you stripped the EXIF data of your photos before posting this otherwise it’s a pinpoint to its location….
