The only real issue is Jade alone doesn't have the secure hardware to store the seed phrase securely (they are against using a secure element), so that's why the Blind Oracle feature to put the trust of the seed process to the oracle device exists. This isn't a security disadvantage as it overcomes the problem, however some people may find the process a bit tedious.
SeedSigner has this issue but Jade in my opinion provides a far better fix for just a very slight price bump. Jade is probably one of the best budget wallets on the market. I think the cheap price mostly boils down to the manufacturing costs, no need to buy a secure element etc.
If Jade / Blockstream would stop to run the Blind Orcacle the users would lose access to their wallets?

No, I don't believe so. So long as you have your seed, you can always restore back into the device under a different config, or a different device entirely. Actually, now that I think about it I believe you can still access the device without the QR even if you set it up that way. I may be wrong on that, I'll have to double-check...

Yeah, makes sense, thanks. So the only way to get rekt would be to lose the seed backup as well in this case.

Yeah, that's the last line of defense.
