Yup, I am actually writing some non-btc related blog articles on nostr that are more closely tied to my background in health and medicine.

I post different kinds of stuff on SN and Minds, because the interests of the audience are different, but I try to post everything to Nostr.
Nostr doesn't just need better original content, it desperately needs better engagement. People are much better about replying to comments on their posts both here and over at Minds.

How is nostr "built over bitcoin"? Its protocol is totally unrelated. Any platform or protocol could integrate with Lightning.

The word bitcoin was being used loosely to represent the res publica, or the international peoples, applications, and ideas related to bitcoin. Nostr could emerge as a data layer for L1 still, a P2P marketplace for goods is inbound, my Nostr and BTC private keys are both stored on the same Coldcard, and NIPS, BIPS, BOLTS... Hard for me to think of it as a discrete protocol "totally unrelated to bitcoin", even though technically, you are correct.

That will be fun to watch. I still have a dream that Stacker news eats reddit.

I agree 100%. It was easy for me since I was never a conventional Twitter/Facebook poster. Whenever I post a long form article, it is originally published on SN, and then immediately posted to my blog stack on nostr. That's it.
