This has inspired me to watch it. I had read somewhere else that they hardly mentioned bitcoin and got it completely wrong.
They mentioned it but they still got it completely wrong. Only watch if you're already a Futurama fan.

The article has does nothing to tie-in the actual Futurama episode past point 4 and even the points before that are kind of weak.
It was wrong that the mining machine got him an Ethereum, since it is now PoS
