TBH nostr has a spam problem! Every note gets reply by some air drop.
https://satellite.earth/ looked good at first but has a moderation system.

what does he mean with "shadowbanned"? I can see the profiles just fine including their events
ah, found the explanation:
You see, what @Semisol 👨‍💻 disingenuously calls "shadowbanning" is simply an inability to show up on Primal's trending list. That's all. Visibility of these users is not restricted in any other way. @Semisol 👨‍💻 knows this, and his use of this framing indicates that he is not engaging in good faith.
I totally agree with your point that it should be easy to check which npubs are filtered, and be able to override that. We are building those tools as we speak.
more context:
He posted a note saying "Look I can trend on Primal at will", then created a bot that reposted, liked, and zapped that note 200k times with different keypairs. Seems kinda spammy, don't you think?
All we did was put him on the "can't trend" list, which is publicly available in our repo. 🤷‍♂️

I got the same spam for severals airdrops n' ppl asking by DM "Hey how are you doing?"

that's simple, for those who want transparency and FOSS, blocking, hidding etc must be handle on user side.
Primal try to build trend algorythm. Human will always try to game this kind of algo (see steemit history). This basically cannot scale.

On top of Primal starting to lose its ability to load users' home feeds, it's "gaining" the fragility of the dev in charge refusing to work with users finding bugs within both Primal and Nostr itself.
Fuck Primal, it never worked for the past month anyway.

Apparently they just got a nice chunk of funding so I doubt there's any rush to sort things out

See you all on twitter (X) in a year.

X has it's own social credit with "freedom of speech not reach".
