Don't setup a node. Keep your coins on exchange. Put the following words in all your social bios "crypto" "blockchain" "web 3" "DApps" "DeFi". And don't forget to go all in on PEPE.
Toxic minimalist
A little toxic maxi reverse psychology and social shaming should do the trick.
Pours one out for pepecoinmillionaire
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We are all fucking you over. All the balances you have ever seen are lies.
Because, well, you have never verified yourself.
We stole his money and we linked his wallets to a fake testnet bitcoin node that was created with an ERC20 Ethereum shitcoin smart contract. And finally he is waking up. Too late. He trusted us.
How many have we fooled already!!!
Its pretty fun, and you learn more about bitcoin in the process
I second that, do it for fun, everything else 'll come
Running a node is badass.

If you don’t own a node you don’t know shit what you are talking about.
You are just a fiat scammer who think it is fancy to talk about this new thing called Bitcoin or bitcoin. But deep down you are asleep.
I mean seriously. How dare you a. How dare you ask…I don’t get it. I’m speechles. Such a…man!
Look…
You trust others what they say your balance is. How could you fool yourself like that?
I mean opening a wallet and thinking that what you see is the truth? Those digits in your wallet how do you know they are the truth?
You think you own 2 bitcoins? Show me why you think that.
You are one of those free riders right? Enjoying the network but not helping. Not validating anything. Great!!
What do you think this whole bitcoin thing is about? Are you seriously not verifying your transactions yourself? Seriously? After all those scams around. SBF? Does it ring a bell?
You are just living in dream fiat land. Like when you log in your online bank account. You see those digits and you believe you have that 50.000 usd? That money doesn’t exist.
Go to the bank right now and take it out. And you will see.
And now you want me to convince you to do something you should know you should be doing?
Owning your own bank that is what a node is. Taking responsibility for owning your own stuff.
But I won’t waste my time anymore on you!!
You lazy…
Lol: this was all acting!!!! I’m not actually this hard!!! I think you should do whatever you want and accept and own the consequences.
Are you conviced now you $&@&@(()
Lol. Just kidding it is a game we are playing, remember?
Without full nodes run by the users Bitcoin is worthless. No nodes, no decentralization, no reason to use BTC.
I can think of a few things:
You can query your wallet more privately
You don't have to trust a public node to relay accurate blockchain information
You can choose what version of the software to run and customize its settings
The more nodes there are, the more future-proof bitcoin is. Companies and governments could decide they’re going to set up a million nodes with their own rules. That’s not the end of the world, if anything it’s just a hard fork, but if there are already 100 million nodes in the world, the whole thing is even further solidified. Contribute to the only true form of digital monetary decentralization. Run a node.
Where can I find instructions for novices on how to start a node? Thanks.

Umbrel/ raspberry pi 4.
www.raspibolt.org has step by step instructions for how to set up on a linux
There is absolutely no need to run a node unless you do many transactions so you want to make querying more effective or you dont want others (chain explorers) to see which adresses or transactions you are querying. Last reason might be if you want to donate your disk space and nw bandwith to community to keep one extra copy of history.
Wrong. Running a node is about self defense. In many ways it's the online equivalent to owning a gun. No 3rd party can fudge your UXTOs or selectively show you what they want you to see when your own node is directly interfacing with the blockchain.
Sure, most wallet providers don't want to screw you over, but this is a lazy argument that sounds too utopian to me. Some will, and given time, most will.
I cannot explain the feeling after you confirm your transaction directly and privately with your node. You have to feel it yourself. It is the only way to know. Everybody should feel it, that's how it should be.
Nah, it's really only a thing for rebellious cypherpunks. Normal people like you can keep trusting your betters like good sheep. Node running is reserved only for those intelligent and competent enough to handle it. Unless of course I misjudged you. Think you can you handle it?
do it, or the bunny gets it...
If you run your own node, you can earn sats by running a Joinmarket maker, while improving the privacy of your UTXOs
Neo it is very simple: Take the blue pill- don’t own a Bitcoin node. You will wake up in your bed, and go back to your daily job, work hard and stay in the fiat matrix. Keep believing in everything you are presented.
Or take the red pill, buy a raspberry pi 4 and put umbrel on it, and press install Bitvoin, and I will show you how deep the rabit hole goes. If you take this Dorothy, Say bye bye to Cansas…
view on m.youtube.comChances are you might learn something in the process.
Nowadays you can buy nodes. Which seller is the best?
