In the coming years, block space is going to get very expensive and people will get onboarded directly into layer 2 protocols - Fedimint, Lightning, Ark, cashu, Liquid etc. It is important that there is interoperability between them i.e swaps between all protocols with minimal fees to avoid them becoming their own silos and to increase their resiliency.

Yeah. Expecting lower transaction fees and need to transact in the main chain for everything is plain stupid.

Yeah right. I considered liquid as layer 2 in this context.
I think we need nice trust-less bridges between main chain and L2 networks.
