What's with the arrow?

Just something I was doing on my blog to indicate it is a link or linked list blog post, sort of like a repost or retweet.
I also have been experimenting with adding an emoji at the start of a post to indicate the topic or type of post. Maybe to help it stand out. Just trying things. Playing around with the platform.
I can stop if you prefer.

I was just curious. I have a personal preference for minimal user of emojis in the titles of posts. Users are prepending headphones, cameras, etc to indicate post type but it's usually obvious from the link so it doesn't add information and just feels noisy.
I'm thinking of making it cost 10 sats per emoji, and 10x every additional, in a title to discourage over using them, but I haven't decided firmly to do this yet so I'm trying to understand what users are intending.

I am ok with that for sure! I have actually stopped using arrows and emojis on my blog recently so I agree it is cleaner to not have them. It was re-visiting Dave Winer’s blog and the minimal links he uses that inspired me to change. Emojis etc do add unnecessary noise and clutter for sure.
