Nice work on week 1 everyone but we did have one player lose their game. @weareallsatoshi went down with the Vikings (life lesson-never trust the Vikings). He has until this week's pick deadline Sunday to execute the re-buy and make a pick if he so chooses.
I had intended on listing out every players restricted teams and eligible buy ins weekly, which I am tracking manually (yeah I am old school) on a survivor pool grid but I think it is easier to just tag everyone so they see the post. If someone tries to pick one of their restricted teams I will let them know.
Week 2 Games
Vikings v.s Eagles (-7) - Thursday Night Football Packers (-1.5) v.s Falcons Raiders v.s Bills (-9) Ravens v.s Bengals (-3.5) Seahawks vs Lions (-6) Chargers (-3) v.s Titans Bears v.s Buccaneers (-3) Chiefs (-3) v.s Jaguars Colts (-1) v.s Texans 49ers (-8) v.s Rams Giants (-4) v.s Cardinals Jets v.s Cowboys (-8.5) Commanders v.s Broncos (-3.5) Dolphins (-2.5) v.s Patriots- Sunday Night Football Saints (-3) v.s Panthers- Monday Night Football (1) Browns (-2) v.s Steelers- Monday Night Football (2)
Good Luck!
Man it really sucks to be the only person who lost on week 1 lol
I'll pay the buy in for week 2.
My pick for week 2: Cowboys

Awesome. You're back in action. Pick locked and loaded.

Allen 4TD game after 4 Turnover game? Sounds about right.
reply
At home against the Raiders? Maybe. I think the Raiders are okay, but the Bills will have a bounceback after that mess.
reply
As bad of a game as Allen had, his receivers were breaking open-field tackles and he's obviously hard to bring down on the run. The Raiders have been consistently bad at tackling for the 40 years since the Soul Patrol disbanded.
I'm expecting Allen to have like 500 combined air and ground yards next week.
reply
Never forget the anon who was called a troll for predicting the Lions beating the Chiefs in last week's thread
reply
Despite the vile taste it leaves in my mouth: Cowboys
reply
No faith in Zach attack. For shame.
reply
i think my favorite part of this whole thing might be @grayruby shit talking himself from the survivor account
reply
Come for the pool, stay for me trolling myself.
Worst part is I keep tipping that account when it insults me.
reply
I'll take the Giants please @nflsurvivor2023
reply
This was one the picks I was considering before Rodgers got hurt.
reply
I feel like the jets D is good enough to hold the cowgirls at bay. And garret Wilson was still a stud toward the end of last season even with Zach Wilson as his QB. It feels like a trap. So imma wait to see just how bad they are without Rodgers, before plugging the shit outta anyone playing them lol.
reply
I think Jets D can hold off Cowgirls but I don't see them forcing 4 turnovers again and I think the Cowboys D is better than the Bills D, plus it is in Dallas. I wouldn't be so sad with the re-buy in my back pocket to see the Cowgirls lose but I don't think it's happening.
reply
Probably not. For every good move gang green make on D. Micah Parsons wants to remind them he's there.
reply
Me too. The anti-Cardinals strategy is very tempting. Can the Cardinals lose more times in a row than the rest of us can pick winners? Probably.
reply
Anti-cardinals / anti-Texans
reply
Cardinals will not go 0-17 but they might go 2-15. I guess it just depends when those wins come.
reply
Yeah, but they could go 0-13. Also, you'd have to pick someone else for half of the divisional games.
reply
Giants "don't call it a" comeback game. Locked and loaded.
reply
First!
Week 1: Jaguars Week 2: Chargers
reply
Bold choice
reply
Gotta start with the bold choices, get the bad team wins first and save the good teams for challenging week/matchups. That's the strategy at least, the execution tends to be lacking mostly.
reply
The Chargers have such a bad coach that unless they're playing a team plagued by injuries, I want nothing to do with them.
reply
Agreed, they tend to cause heartburn for no reason. Titans didn't look great, so I am hoping to just get rid of the need to be use LAC later.
reply
Fortune favors the brave
reply
2nd Buy In loading.... never bet on the chargers haha
reply
Will they ever fix their defense? Probably not.
reply
As a Packer fan, I don't think it's possible to fix a defense :)
Should I wait until next thread to post my re-buy, or can I do that now? What's easiest for you?
reply
Whenever you like. Just let me know you sent and I will note it on my super high tech survivor pool tracking device (pen and paper).
One of the picks I was considering until Rodgers getting hurt made the Cowgirls at home a no brainer.
reply
I want to save Cowboys for a later week when choices may be come more difficult in theory. That's when you want the good/better teams available to choose from. If I get that far of course haha.
reply
I hear ya but I am expecting Dak to get injured at some point.
reply
Chargers revenge game feels right and Tannehill looked like the worst QB not named Josh Allen in week 1, but it's the Chargers so who knows. Locked and loaded.
reply
Joe burrow was worse
reply
Testy testy. Both Joe and Josh will be just fine.
reply
⭐️ I'll pick the Lions :)
still need to work on my shit talking, lol
reply
Go Lions
reply
Bold. Seahawks had a bad week 1 and Lions had a good week 1 but in my opinion this game is closer than the line.
reply
Haha "someone" (impossible to know who) zapped ekzyis 1000 sats for picking the Lions.
reply
Locked and loaded
reply
Just keep saying "lions" repeatedly that's shit whilst you're talking, so kinda counts 😜.
Maybe I should stay quiet after week 1, that was an abysmal performance by the Vikings.
reply
Vikings can redeem themselves by beating the Beagles this week.
reply
That's just not going to happen though is it.
reply
Bills
reply
Nifty using every bit of the deadline. I like it. Locked in.

Wise choice. Locked in.

@tnuts420 I found you a new best friend. Locked in.

@tnuts420 and I will be crying in our beer tonight. What was I thinking picking the lions.
reply
Yeah tough one. Stupid Seahawks.

Week 1: Washington Week 2: Giants

Dregs of the NFC East strategy. Locked in.

Playing the long game. I like it. Locked in.
reply
⭐️ Broncos -3.5
reply
I didn't expect anyone to pick the Broncos but I trust in Mallard. Locked in.
reply
i'm going giants this week as well
reply
Yes join us. First you agree with me. Then one day bam! You wake up a Vikings fan.
reply
reply
You mean... not yet
reply
Why not? Saquon is a bitconer. At least a fringe Bitcoiner. Locked and loaded.
reply
why not?
well the 40-0 week 1 performance was my biggest worry. but you gotta burn the garbage teams early, and i don't see the cards hanging 40pts on anyone. plus hopefully the giants are pissed about getting their dicks kicked in week 1, and come out hungry
reply
I was ready to punt on another season of all things football but I guess I should wait until actually being eliminated first. That being said I'm going with the Bills to bounce back at their home opener. If they lose my Sundays are free again and if they win I don't have to worry about Josh Allen turning the ball over 4x later in the season when it matters.
reply
Bills looked more like the Spills last night but next week will return to form as the Thrills. Locked and loaded.
reply
Weak save the jokes
reply
Hello all! Glad to have made it to the next week! Last week was too close for comfort. Lol.
With that said, please lock in the Giants for me this week! 😎
reply
The anti-Cardinal strategy in full force. Locked and loaded.
reply
Yes sir! Lets see how long we can ride this wave. Lol.
reply
Holy smokes!!! That was close! πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜… Lol
reply
They all count as Ws
reply
I might be using the Cowboys too early, but I don't want to waste the 49ers yet and none of the other favorites do it for me.
Week 2: Cowboys
reply
Nah. Dak is going to get hurt at some point. He misses at least a few games every year.
reply
That was part of my thinking and their defense should be able to devour the Jets offense. They have a pretty soft looking schedule, though.
reply
Who knows what happens but I am circling week 5, when Cowboys come to SF as one of the potential games of the year. If both teams stay healthy and play well (it's NFL, big if) they will both probably be 4-0.
49ers are a better team than the Cowboys but their OLine is their biggest weakness and Cowboys DLine is their biggest strength so it could be a bad match up for them.
reply
The 49ers real biggest weakness is QB injuries, which is a bad combo with that bad OLine.
reply
That is a fact. Although maybe they are due for some luck on that front this year. Last year was such a disaster. Lance out for year, Jimmy G out for the year. Purdy and Johnson both hurt in NFC Championship game. I wouldn't say the OLine is bad, they do have Trent Williams but the right side is pretty suspect for sure. I am hoping they are going to use some of that cap space they freed up with the Bosa signing and the Williams and kittle restructures to beef up the line at the deadline but it's hard to find really good lineman and teams that have them don't want to part with them.
reply
Fair warning, that's the same pick as GrayRuby and he almost got 7 people eliminated last week with the Commanders. Just saying. Locked and loaded.
reply
In fairness to me, I did warn him about the great shame it would bring to his family if he lost his money on the Commanders.
reply
They are already ashamed. Why do you think he spends so much time on SN talking to you guys?
reply
49ers please and thank you
reply
Even when the Scams were good the 49ers dominated them. Let's not talk about the NFC championship game poor clock management and dropped INT though.
reply
Early but unless Purdy gets hurt welcome to week 3. Locked and loaded.
