According to Alex Gladstein, financial privilege is the idea that only a small percentage of humans in the world have access to a well-functioning financial system and a reserve currency. This means that only a fraction of the world's population has access to a fiat currency that is trustable enough for other central banks to allocate some of their savings into it. The overwhelming majority of people on this earth live in societies where the currency itself is weak and property rights are not secure.
