Yes, I never believed those numbers. Imagine somewhere farmed many crying babies, and then who needed to be spoonfeeding everything, which means a much bigger GDP.!
Then, compared with places where more self-sufficient people prefer to do things themselves, most likely they would have a better quality of life but with seemingly a much lower GDP.
In short: using GDP to rank different countries is nothing but stupidity.
