Same time period. I like the band's name. Some reference to an old description of a cold night as three dog night, because you slept with three dogs in your bed to keep warm.

I am a big CCR fan. I never got to see the original lineup, but I saw John Fogarty live about 10 years ago. I still remember where I was the moment I first heard Bad Moon Rising. I thought for sure the lyrics were "There's a bathroom on the right". Loved that as a kid, if course. I had all their albums, and Fogarty's solo later on.
