ᕦ(ò_óˇ) Day 4 of exercising everyday before the saloon opens
Today, I went up a mountain:
Ok, no, just kidding that was a few weeks ago. I still feel like I should recover from day 1 and 2, so I just went for a walk again today.
I also wanted to get out of the city so it became a trip down memory lane for me:
I used to live here in the outskirts before I felt very lonely and moved into the city.
I took a train to come here such that I can walk the 5km back home.
Pretty interesting to remember how I felt back then or what stuff I was thinking about. That was during my early days of bitcoin and COVID. And how different I feel now.
Wanted to reply with something along these lines to @k00b's post about how we changed in the last 5 years but it didn't feel worth mentioning so I just replied nothing, lol
Keep up the excercise freak!

I like the idea of the saloon being used as a personal accountability thread where people share progress on their positive habits.

Soon you will just unconsciously speak in haikus.
reply
That would get old really quickly! I will likely limit myself to sharing only the relevant and worthwhile.
Allen Ginsberg said of Kerouac; “He’s the only one in the United States who knows how to write haikus… Kerouac thinks in haikus, every time he writes anything—talks that way and thinks that way. So it’s just natural for him… He’s the only master of the haiku.” So I should perhaps leave them to him.
My last one; Words come tumbling out; misquote, misspell, mistake… haikus without end

Relaxing rules with 6 in second line?

Mis-s-spell I’m counting as 3…

Yes!
I also think I should leave my phone at home so I can enjoy my mind wandering around more. But then I can't take pictures.
That also the reason why I decided to not listen to podcasts even though it was a great idea of yours. I actually wanted to enjoy the boredom.
Maybe I'll buy a camera and start with photography.
But am I not than still distracting myself by occupying myself with something predetermined?
reply
It depends what you need to get from your time out I guess.
If it’s an engage with nature, clear your head, etc. a phone or podcast may not help. If it’s purely fitness it may help having the distraction. I do sometimes carry a camera for longer walks but quite often I don’t use it unless I am specifically visiting somewhere.
